Reflection 9 - Podcast

As part of a math class I had at NMU we learned how to create a podcast and upload it to youtube. I found this assignment helped me demonstrate NETS-T standard 4a because it is not only a great teaching tool for my students but it demonstrates to them safe, legal, and ethical use of digital information and technology. Students will be able to review my podcast after class has happened to refresh what they learned, or if by chance a student missed a day of class they could view the podcast and hopefully be caught up on any information they missed that day. I also feel it is important for students to see how YouTube can be a great learning tool and not just for watching videos for fun.
